- Debut of a new rarity, Concept Rare: Each set features different themes with new cards of various scenes and characters
- Previous SCR cards get reprints with new illustrations as GOD Rare cards: This set has both a new and a reprint GOD Rare card for a total of 2 different types
- Limited edition energy markers (total 10 types) are included as box toppers!
The theme for Set #1 of the new series is "A New Chapter"! The lineup will feature characters from beloved stories, as well as reboots of popular Leaders from previous sets!
- 5 different Concept Rare cards. This first set's theme is "Famous Showdowns": These cards pay homage to some of Goku's past showdowns! Goku and his opponent characters each get strong cards for powering up various decks!
- Characters from Dragon Ball DAIMA are now fully included in DBSCG Masters: [Son Goku (Mini)] and [Dr. Arinsu] from Dragon Ball DAIMA get Leader Cards. Lots of new Battle Cards from DAIMA to use in various decks! SCR cards also let you experience the new power of the new series!
- 2 different GOD Rare cards: One God Rare card has new text, and the other is a reprint of a popular SCR card from a past set with a new illustration. A card symbolic of Dragon Ball returns with a golden finish!
- The designs for the box topper energy markers use the key visuals from past sets and maybe some rare parallel versions: New energy markets with cool and nostalgic designs from the key visuals for boosters 1 through 10. Get ultra-rare parallel versions with premium finishes!
